Who would want to read news that only feature boys?
Well, who wouldn’t!
Let’s face it: Boys already make up a good part of what we call “breaking news”. Boys rob and steal, they harass, they rape, and they sometimes even murder. They do silly stuff too, like climbing up on railway engines, drinking too much alcohol and “borrowing” their dad’s car despite they’re not quite 14.
But boys also generate many of the “good news” headlines. Boys are there to save the day when a cat is stuck up a tree. They climb mountain tops and they help out when people are in need. In short, boys are our everyday heroes.
Boys do all the crazy stuff that we learn not to do as we grow older. We may pity the boys or we may reproach them, but at the same time we can’t help but love them. Because in our hearts we know that we are them. Yes, boys are the essence of humanity. When we read about them, we read about ourselves.
Breaking Boy News is edited in order not to include any news where the boy himself is the victim.

Thank you! We get them from different sources, but mostly just by surfing around and nabbing (borrowing) the best ones for our needs. Fitting the news stories with the right photos is a challenge we enjoy. We don’t look upon it as traditional editing, but rather as curating.

I wish this wasn’t AS true as it may be. I’ve never been that kind of boy so it baffles me how so many are just so…ridiculous(in the negative sense)

Quite true! I got a soon to be 14 year old adopted son, and four growing nephews ages 7 & under. You put my son with his young cousins, there’s a fresh Breaking Boy News flash every nanosecond they’re together. LOL
Maybe it’s just me but I can’t imagine it just being a gender thing, that males have some sort of monopoly on violent/dangerous activity. If I can know better and my male friends can know better, why is there so much of a negative bias against males and why do they behave in this way? It can’t possibly be as simple as it being a male thing. Something just feels wrong…

if offended by what they see here, they need to burn their books and pose their rightish indignation where it will be more appreciated by their ilk.

Thanks but no. The selection of pictures at BBN is very personal, and there is no shortage in available material to choose from. For every published picture there are maybe 100 discarded. You can suggest news though.

suggested arrived safely; meaning, were they presented correctly to you as I don’t know if they arrived…..

Why add your own pictures why not just use the origanals
~Daniel, most of the articles can be tracked back to source just by tapping
next to source at the end of the story. Though many include pictures of the
‘players’ involved, many do not primarily due to laws re minors and their
privacy. But, saying this you always have the option to further investigate
the story by using this feature and in some cases see who the article is about.
I personally backtrack all the stories that I find interesting and/or wish to
comment on and in that way I’m more informed and can also follow up on stories that are ongoing such as court cases.
But where do they get there pictures for the news stories.
