Two 14-year-old boys’ prank kills woman

Young boys shirtless and sexy

Two 14-year-old boys arrested in connection with the manslaughter of a Northampton woman who died after one of her car tyres was vandalised have been released on bail.

Pharmacist Joanna Smith, 32, was killed when she crashed her Honda Jazz on April 10.

Forensic tests showed a tyre on her car was punctured deliberately.

Mrs Smith is thought to have been unaware of the vandalism when she set off for work in Irchester on the morning of the accident, since the tyre was only partially deflated.

Following the collision, officers were informed by members of the public that a further three vehicles parked close to the Honda had also sustained tyre damage at the same time.

naughty boys! that was a mean prank.

I hope the punishment they get isnt excessive though. maybe getting grounded for a week would be good (boys hate getting grounded). anything longer than that would be too harsh for them.

Hopefully they concentrate on less serious mischief.

Okay here a woman did die even if that wasn’t their intention; charging with manslaughter by default I don’t know the law is quirky. I do wonder if cheap defective tires with faults that caused the same accident would lead to charges for the producer?
